Days that formed my identity
Days that I wanted to have never seen
At times I saw the good in all
At times I saw the ugliness in all
Good thoughts, bad thoughts
Great thoughts, mad thoughts
Thoughts that energized me to keep on going
Thoughts that paralyzed me to a virtual standstill
At times I knew that all this is just a temporary stay
At times I knew nothing of it at all
