BORN AGAIN
BORN AGAIN
Joining a river, unknown to me,
Flowing with the current downstream
Through unknown terrain.
At times movement is slow, but never idle.
At other times it’s stirring, but never chaotic.
Reaching a waste collective of the likes,
Being pushed and pulled through ebb and flow
To an area of no discrimination.
Laws of nature determine my fate.
Laws that are omnipresent and all-pervading.
Soaring up high in the sky,
Forming new alliances
While floating towards a new destination.
Wherever I will be released,
I am still me.
